A fragile kind of together.

Inspired by quantum repeaters: short entangled pairs can be consumed to create a distant pair. This is a deterministic puzzle abstraction, with fictional beats and guaranteed swaps. It is not a physics simulator.

Connect the far ends.

You are keeping a small chain of observatories in touch. Complete the requests in order, within the beat budget.

  1. Create: click a gold fiber label such as A–B. This creates one stored entangled pair, with a life counter.
  2. Swap: with A–B and B–C stored, press Swap B. Both pairs are consumed and A–C appears. B’s slots are freed.
  3. Deliver: once the requested pair exists, press Deliver. It is consumed and the next request opens.

Every successful action takes one beat. Older pairs lose one life; pairs at zero disappear. Newly created pairs start at full life. A swap’s result inherits the smaller life counter minus one. Each island holds at most two pair endpoints.

Later studies have fibers that open on alternating even or odd beats. Closed fibers show when they reopen. Wait if needed. Undo and hints are unlimited.

First study: create A–B, create B–C, Swap B, Deliver A–C.
